GUESSING OBJECTS

This game is played like this. One player is sent out of the room. While he is gone the players choose some object which he is to guess.  He is then called in, and asks each player agreed number of questions.

The answers to the questions must only be either "Yes" or "No," and a penalty must be paid if any other answer is given.

For example, if the chosen object is a piece of coal in the fireplace, the player will begin by finding out whether the object chosen is of the animal, vegetable, or mineral kingdom. So, he would ask the following questions: "Is it a mineral?" "Yes." "Is it hard?" "Yes."  "Is it very valuable?" "No." "Is it bright and shiny?" "Yes." "Is it gold?" "No." "Silver?"  "No." "Is it in this room?" "Yes." "Is it black?" "Yes." "Is it a piece of coal?" "Yes."

When the correct object is guessed, another player is sent out and the game continues.

SNAKE'S TAIL

All the players form a line, each player placing his hands on the shoulders of the player in front of him. One player is selected to be the "catcher." The first player in the line, or "snake" is called the "head" and the last one, the "tail."

The "catcher" stands about four feet from the "head" and when someone gives a sign, he tries to catch the "tail" without pushing anyone, or breaking through the “snake.”

The players forming the "body" defend the "tail" by moving around any way they choose, as long as the line is not broken, as the "tail" is considered caught if it is.

When the "tail" is caught, the "catcher" becomes "head" and the "tail" is then "catcher," the last player in the line being "tail," and the game continues same as before.

BLIND MAN WITH A TWIST

In this game, there is a twist since you do not bandage the eyes of the chosen "blind man."

You need to stretch a sheet in the room or between two doors and place a lamp or a candle on a desk away from the sheet. The chosen "blind man" sits on the floor or a chair in front of the lamp and faces the sheet. “Blind man” must take care that his shadow does not appear on the sheet so he need to sit a little to a side or low down on the floor.

The players form a line and walk in a single file between the light and the "blind man," who is not allowed to turn around. The players’ shadows are thrown on the sheet as they pass and the "blind man" must guess who they are. The players should try to disguise their walk, hairstyle and height in order to puzzle him as much as possible.

Once the "blind man" guesses correctly, the recognized player takes his place and now he becomes the "blind man" and the game proceeds as before. The players should change places so that the new "blind man" will not be able to know their positions.
